Shoe Rack On Wheels
– I actually have two boys and they share a area. As you may imagine, their area could be a dump pit, an absolute mess of toys from crayons to LEGOS to books. And tons of unidentifiable stuff in between. It seems like I’ve been harping on them forever to try and do a higher job of choosing up their stuff – and keeping it picked up – but to my frustration, nothing appeared to figure.
Out of sheer frustration, I set to convey one thing new a try. I found an previous shoe rack in our laundry space. It was made of suppose plastic that made me feel smart, like perhaps the boys wouldn’t break it easily. I place it in their closet and set a goal for them to every place away their shoes each night on the shoe rack. At the end of a week, the kid that had followed my directions the most would get a small reward.
At 1st the boys didn’t grasp what to think. Up till then, I’d continuously just kind of yelled orders and flapped my wings. This time, I was leaving the answer up to them and incentivizing them to create a good choice. Then their competitive nature kicked in and they got with the program. They even managed to cooperate with each other!
My oldest showed his younger brother a way to use the shoe rack to carry the shoes he wasn’t sporting simply then. They place their rain and snow boots in the rear row because they would not would like them that regularly. And their sneakers and crocs went within the front row for everyday use. Surprisingly, my older son even had the thought to line the underside of their closet with a garbage bag below the shoe rack to help keep dirt and water from seeping onto the carpet. shoe rack on wheels
